Stripe's email has not arrived

Stripe emails you a few minutes after you finish setting up payments; look in junk, and check the Tips screen, which shows where you are.

Stripe handles the payment side. It sends its own emails, separate from the ones AnyRequests sends. You should expect one within a few minutes of finishing the set-up form, to confirm your account. It is the first email you will have had from Stripe, so it is the one most likely to be filed as junk.

Steps

  1. Check your spam or junk folder.
  2. Search your email for "Stripe".
  3. Remember that Stripe writes to the email address you signed up to AnyRequests with. We give Stripe that address when you start setting up payments.
  4. Open AnyRequests and tap Tips in the main menu, then the Setup tab. You do not need the email to find out where you are.

You will see: either the Stripe form still waiting for you, "Stripe is reviewing your details", or "You can be tipped" once Stripe has approved you.

AnyRequests cannot see whether Stripe has sent its email, so the Tips screen is the reliable place to look.

If the Tips screen has not moved on

The Setup tab says "Still waiting on Stripe. This usually sorts itself out." and offers Check now. Tap it. If nothing has changed, it says "Nothing has changed yet. Stripe can take a few minutes."

Other Stripe emails

Stripe also emails you about verification and, later, your tax invoices. These are expected. The Documents tab on the Tips screen shows your statements and invoices too.

If a link in a Stripe email opens AnyRequests and says "That link was for a different account", you are signed in as another act. Log out, then log in with the account you set up payments with.
