HelpTroubleshooting

The app is stuck or out of date

Close and reopen first; if AnyRequests still will not open, the Reset the app page clears the stored copy and keeps your songs, gigs and account.

1. Use the update notice

When a new version has been installed, a notice says "A new version is ready. It will be used next time you open the app." Tap Use it now to switch straight away, or ignore it and the new version is used next time you open the app.

2. Close it and open it again

  1. Close AnyRequests completely. On a phone, swipe it away from the list of open apps.
  2. Open it again from the home screen icon.

3. Check which version you have

Open the menu, tap Settings. At the foot of the list is a line such as "Version 2026.10.01 · a1b2c3d". It is the date and a short code of the version on that device.

4. Reset the app

If AnyRequests will not open at all, this clears the stored copy on your phone and fetches a fresh one.

  1. In your phone's browser, go to anyrequests.app/recover.
  2. Tap Reset and reopen.
  3. Wait. The page says "Clearing...", then "Done. Opening the app..."

You will see: AnyRequests opens again, with a fresh copy.

It does not touch your songs, your gigs or your account, and it does not sign you out. If you use notifications, check the switch in Settings afterwards, as you may need to turn it on again. If it fails, the page says "That did not work. Close the app completely and open it again." Do that, then try once more.

If it keeps happening

Email hello@anyrequests.app and say which phone and browser you use, and what you see.
