My password reset email has not arrived
Check junk or spam first, make sure you typed the address you signed up with, and use the link within one hour.
Ask for a reset link
- On the log in page, tap Forgotten your password?
- Type the email address you signed up with.
- Tap Send reset link.
You will see: "Check your email". It says "If that address has an account, a reset link is on its way. The link lasts one hour."
The screen says exactly the same thing whether or not that address has an account. This is deliberate, so nobody can use the page to find out who has an account. It also means the screen cannot tell you that you typed the wrong address.
If nothing arrives
- Look in your junk or spam folder. Automated email often lands there.
- Look for an email from AnyRequests with the subject Reset your AnyRequests password.
- Check the address. If you have more than one email address, try the other one.
- Go back and ask again. Use Back to log in, then Forgotten your password?
Use the link in time
The link lasts one hour. If you open it later than that, ask for a new one.
- Tap Set a new password in the email.
- Type a new password of at least 8 characters.
- Type it again to confirm.
- Tap Save new password.
You will see: "Password updated" and "You're all set", with a link to your dashboard.
If the two boxes do not match, the page says "Those two passwords do not match." If the password is shorter than 8 characters, it says "Please use at least 8 characters."
Still stuck
Email hello@anyrequests.app from the address you signed up with.
