Why Stripe asks me to sign in again
Stripe keeps its sign-in separately on each device, on purpose, so nothing is broken when it asks again on a new phone or browser.
Your tips and figures show on every tab, but the Setup tab can ask you to sign in to Stripe again. Nothing is broken.
Why it happens
Stripe keeps its sign-in separately on each device. That way, somebody holding an unlocked phone of yours cannot reach your bank details on it. AnyRequests cannot switch this off.
So Stripe asks once per device. If you set up on a laptop, you will see it again the first time you open the Setup tab on your phone.
What to do
- Open Tips in the main menu, then the Setup tab.
- Open the line Stripe may ask you to sign in on a new device. if you want the reason again.
- When Stripe opens a window to verify your phone, follow it.
- If nothing opens, your browser has probably blocked the window. Look for a blocked popup notice in the address bar and allow it. Then try again.
You will see: Stripe's panel on the Setup tab, with your details in it.
If it still will not open
If you see a message that Stripe could not be reached, a private network or a content blocker is the usual reason. Turn the blocker off for AnyRequests, or move to a different network, then press Try again. For other messages, see The payments panel will not open.
