Songbooks

A songbook is some of your songs, named, so your audience sees the right list for the gig.

A songbook is some of your songs, with a name. Pick one when you go live and the audience sees those songs rather than everything. It has no order. It is not a setlist.

Make one yourself

  1. Open Songs, then tap Songbooks at the top.
  2. Tap New book.
  3. Tap Pick songs myself.
  4. Type a name and tap Create book.
  5. Tap Add songs to this book. Tap a song to put it in. Tap again to take it out.
  6. Tap Done.

You will see: the book in your list with a count of its songs, such as 12 songs.

You can rename it later. Examples of names: Chilled background, Beats and bangers, Irish trad session. Yours can be called anything.

There is another way in. On My songs, tap Select, tick some songs, then tap Add to book.

Change a book

Open it from the Songbooks list. You can:

  • Rename it with the pencil beside the name. Names can be up to 60 characters.
  • Duplicate it. You choose a name for the copy. Two books cannot share a name.
  • Remove from this book for songs you no longer want in it.
  • Delete this book. Your songs stay in your list. Only the book goes.

A song can be in as many books as you like. Deleting a song from your list takes it out of every book.

Use it at a gig

At Go Live, pick the book. The form says The audience sees the 12 songs in this book. If you have chosen My list only, it says The audience will only see these 12 songs. An empty book cannot be used with My list only, because every request would be turned away.
