Chords open on the wrong song

If a chart opens on the song before, it is the Ultimate Guitar app holding on to the last chart. There is a one-time fix.

Why it happens

Your phone hands Ultimate Guitar links straight to the Ultimate Guitar app. If a chart is already open in there, the app stays on that one instead of the song you tapped. The fix is to make those links open in your browser instead. You only do it once, and between gigs is the time to do it.

On an iPhone

1. Tap a Chords link. Ultimate Guitar opens.
2. Look at the very top of the screen, on the right. Tap the small AnyRequests link there.

You will see: chord links now open in your browser instead.

On an Android phone

1. Open Settings, then Apps.
2. Tap Ultimate Guitar.
3. Tap Open by default.
4. Turn off Open supported links.

You will see: chord links open in your browser instead of the app.

To go back to using the app

Tap Open on the banner Ultimate Guitar shows at the top of the page.

Where this help is in the app

The same steps are on Songs. Open the three dots (More) for any song and look for Chart opening on the wrong song?, which opens when you tap it. The live screen does not show it.
