Add songs when you mark them Played

A switch on the Songs tab adds a song to your list when you tap Played on a request that was not on it.

Where the switch is

  1. Tap Songs at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Find the switch Add songs to this list when I mark them Played.
  3. Switch it on or off.

You will see: the switch moves straight away. There is no Save button.

It is on unless you switch it off. The setup you go through when you first sign up has the same switch, called Add songs to my list when I mark them Played.

What it does

When someone asks for a song that is not on your list and you tap Played on the live screen, the song is added to your list for you. It is a natural way to build a list if you have not imported one.

  • It is added with the title and artist from our song catalogue, not with the audience's typing.
  • Typed text that is not recognised as a song is not added. If you play something original, add it yourself on the Songs tab.
  • Skip does not add anything. Only Played does.
  • If a failure stops the add, your queue is still correct. You are one song short on your list, nothing more.

With My list only

The switch is hidden while My list only is on. The audience can only ask for songs already on your list, so there is nothing to add. Your answer is kept, and the switch comes back when you choose Anything again.
