The lists under the request form
Two lists can stand under your request form, Popular before requests start and Most requested so far once they do, and each has its own switch.
The two lists
Most popular is what your audience sees before any requests have come in. It is your most asked for songs from past gigs, headed Popular on your page. It has no vote arrows, because there is nothing live to vote on yet.
Most requested so far appears once requests come in. It is what your audience has asked for at this gig, ranked, with an arrow beside each song so anyone can add their vote. A song you have played carries a Played tag instead of an arrow.
Most requested so far takes over from Most popular once three requests are in and at least one of them is a recognised song.
Switch a list on or off
- Tap Setup at the bottom of the screen.
- Find the row Most popular or Most requested so far.
- Use the switch on the row. Tap the name of the row to read the explanation.
You will see: the switch moves and the row says what happened. There is no Save button. Each switch saves itself.
Both lists are on unless you switch them off.
What switching off does
- Most popular off: nothing stands under the request form until requests start arriving. The form, your links and your tip button are exactly as they were.
- Most requested so far off: the audience can still ask for anything. They are just not shown what has already been asked for, and cannot back a song with a vote.
To remove one song instead
Use the eye beside the song in Most requested on your Dashboard. That song drops out of both lists. It stays in the browse list, and the audience can still search for it. See Most requested and hiding a song.
