Adding a song yourself

Use Add a song on the live screen to put a song in your own queue when someone asks you in person.

Put a song in the queue

  1. On the live screen, tap Add a song.
  2. Type a song or artist in the box headed What are you playing? Search starts after two characters.
  3. Tap the result you want. It fills the box, and nothing is added yet.
  4. If you want to remember who asked, type a name in Who asked, if you want to note it. It is optional and holds up to 24 characters.
  5. Tap Queue song.

You will see: the message is in the queue, with the song title in front of it, and a new card in your queue marked Yours.

Queue song stays greyed out until you have tapped a result. This is so a brush of the screen never puts a song in front of you by accident.

To close without adding, tap the cross at the top of the panel.

Things to know

  • Up to eight results are shown at a time.
  • The song is added with the title and artist from our song catalogue. If someone in the audience has asked for the same song, your entry joins the same card.
  • Your own entries are marked Yours, with the note you typed beside it.
  • If it fails, the message says That did not go in. Try again.
