Your first gig
Put your code on the tables, press Go Live, and tap Played on each request as you play it.
Before you leave home
- Save or print your code. Open Share and print in the menu. See getting your code.
- Add your songs if you want your audience to pick from a list. You do not have to. With no songs added, they can ask for anything.
- Connecting Stripe is not needed to go live. Requests work without it. Tips only appear once Stripe is connected.
At the venue
- Put your code on the tables or by the bar.
- Open AnyRequests and press Go Live.
- On the Start a gig form, check the Venue. AnyRequests can suggest the one you are at. If it is wrong, type the name, for example "The Red Lion, Bakewell".
- Choose My song list: All songs, or one of your songbooks.
- Check Gig length. Use Less time and More time to change it in steps of 15 minutes, from 15 minutes up to 12 hours. It starts at 2 hours.
- Press Go Live. The button stays at the foot of the screen, so you can scroll the form behind it.
You will see: the live screen, with an empty queue that says "Nothing in the queue yet."
While you play
Requests appear as cards. Each card has two buttons:
- Played: you played it.
- Skip: you are not playing it. One tap, and it is off your screen.
You are never obliged to play anything, whether or not someone has tipped.
Room controls lets you send a message to the room, take a break, or stop new requests. Add a song lets you put a song in the queue yourself, for example when someone asks you in person.
When you finish
Press End gig and confirm.
If you would like a practice first
Open the demo page at anyrequests.app/try on your own phone and send a request. See try it as the audience.
