Standard and Pro

Accounts are on Standard. Pro is being prepared and is not on sale yet, so you cannot buy it or switch to it.

Pro is not on sale yet

There are two plans in AnyRequests, Standard and Pro. Your account is on Standard unless AnyRequests has granted you Pro. Pro cannot be bought yet. There is no price, no upgrade button and no way to switch to it yourself.

To see which plan you are on, open Settings and look at Subscription. It says "Your plan is Standard." If an account has been given Pro, it says "Your plan is Pro." and "Pro is granted to this account by AnyRequests. There is nothing to pay."

What Standard includes

Standard is the whole product you use at a gig. Free to use. We take 4% of tips, Stripe's card fee is separate, and there is no subscription. That includes:

  • your page, with your colours, logo, header photo and links
  • requests, votes, the live screen and the queue
  • songs, songbooks and your request limits (Tight, Balanced, Relaxed, or a number you choose)
  • tips through Stripe
  • the print pack
  • handover to the next act at the same venue

What is part of Pro

Pro is being prepared for busy rooms. The controls that exist today are:

  • Paid requests: each phone gets a few requests free at each gig, then can buy more. Buying more never means a song gets played.
  • Take tips switch: turn tips off for your account, or for one gig, when a gig should not have them.

A third Pro feature, Every venue's list (what audiences ask for at any venue or town, not only the one you are in), is planned. It is marked as coming soon in the app.

Why you can see locked controls

A Pro control on a Standard account is shown in place, dimmed and switched off, with a Pro mark. When you press it, it says: "Part of Pro. Coming soon."

Nothing is taken from you. The control is just not available yet. You will meet them in:

  • the Take tips card in the Tips section of Setup
  • the Paid requests card in Setup
  • the per-gig tips and Free or paid controls in Room controls on the live screen

The Go Live form never shows a locked Pro control, so nothing there is in your way when you start a gig.

You will see: a small Pro mark beside the control, and the line "Part of Pro. Coming soon." when you press it.
