What we keep, and for how long
A plain list of what AnyRequests keeps about audiences and musicians, with the length of time for each.
This is the short version. The full version is the privacy policy, and if the two ever differ, the policy is the one that counts.
About your audience

| The name added to a request | Deleted three hours after the gig ends. If the request was passed to the next act, their copy goes three hours after their gig ends. |
| A reported request: the song, name and the reason the musician gave | Twelve months, then the name is deleted. |
| The song, the vote count and the device code on a request or vote | Kept, as the musician's history of what their audiences asked for. The name is not part of it. |
| A song search that finds nothing, with the device code and the gig | 90 days, then deleted automatically. |
| Payments, refunds and disputes, including tips | Seven years. |
| Blocks (the record that a phone was stopped for a gig) | Kept with the gig's records. |
The name is optional on the request form, and only the musician can report a request. See what happens to the audience's names.
About a musician

| The account, until it is closed | Until you close it. Then as described in closing your account. |
| Tip and payment records | Seven years. They stay if the account is closed, and a deletion request does not reach them. |
| Location readings that place a venue | As long as that venue is on the shared list. |
| Notification subscriptions | Until you turn them off, or the browser stops accepting them. |
| What you agreed to, the record of who opened your account, our notes, and copies of account notices we emailed you | While the account exists, and after it closes for as long as we may need to show what happened. |
| Feedback you gave us | Until you ask us to delete it. A quote stops being shown as soon as you withdraw permission. |
About visitors to our website
Visit counts on the home page and the demo are kept for 400 days, then deleted automatically. We set no cookies for this.
What stays on your own device
We set no advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser holds your sign-in session, a copy of your account and the current gig's requests so the app opens quickly, and your screen settings. Clearing the site's data in your browser removes them, and signing out ends your session.
Asking for more
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. Use Download my data in Settings, or email privacy@anyrequests.app. We reply within one month.
