The Dashboard figures

The Dashboard shows five tiles for a period you choose, a fixed four-week tips card, and a chart of requests over time.

Open Dashboard in the main menu. Below the Go Live card are the figures, from the top: Overview, Worth learning, Most requested, a chart, then Past gigs and Venues.

Overview

Choose a period under Show figures for: All time (shown first), Year, Month or Week. Week is the last seven days. Month is the last 31 days. Year is the last 365 days. It always opens on All time, and does not remember your choice.

There are five tiles, and every one follows the period:

  • gigs played: finished gigs.
  • total requests: every request, including lines of text nothing recognises.
  • the different-audience tile (the count of different phones that asked): a good guide to the size of your audience, not an exact headcount. It counts phones.
  • different songs: how many different songs were asked for. The same song counts once.
  • of requests played: requests you marked played, as a share of all requests.

If a period has no gigs, you see a sentence instead of zeros, such as "Nothing in the last seven days." If there were gigs but no requests, the last tile shows a dash and "no requests to measure".

If a gig has been deleted but its requests were kept, a note says how many. They still count in the figures and the trend, but have no gig or venue to sit under. The button that begins Remove these deletes them.

Tips, last four weeks

This card is always the last four weeks, whatever period you chose above. It only appears once Stripe is connected or you have had a tip.

  • You kept is the big figure: what you received after fees. It is what your payouts add up to once they have all arrived.
  • Press Show the breakdown for The audience paid, Card fee, AnyRequests fee and You kept. The card fee is Stripe's and is charged on every payment.
  • A refund is already taken off, and a line says how much.
  • If there were no tips, it says "No tips in the last four weeks."

Requests over time

Choose Week, Month, 3 months, 6 months, Year or All time. Here Month is 30 days. The lines are Total requests, Played, Skipped and Tips. Tap a point to see that day, week or month.

A line such as "Up 12% on the month before" compares with the period before. It is not coloured good or bad, because a quiet month can simply have fewer gigs. All time has no comparison. The last point is often a part period that is still going, so it can look like a fall. A note says so.
